Beta Charter Standards
Over the past 16 years we have been developing the Beta Yachting brand and our fleet of charter motor boats by means of systematic work, well-planned approach to boat maintenance and, first of all, good choice of boats.
We have always been very careful in selecting the appropriate boat models, as not all of the boats present on the market are suitable for charter use. They primarily should meet the charterers' needs for comfort and safety, as not all charterers are equally skilled in navigation. Therefore, the simpler a boat is for use, more plasure is guaranteed!
Charter motor boats require regular maintenance more than any other vessel, the engines being their »heart«. Being constantly loaded much more than any pleasure boat, charter motor boats are truly heavy duty vessels. Therefore engine services have always been our priority. In charter management negotiations with boat owners (and there were many such candidates over the years indeed), we have always tended to select the boats with the engines of the same manufacturer. Large majority of engines in our fleet today are Volvo Penta Diesel engines we have become very familiar with.
We were the first charter provider to:
- furnish the boats with replaceable carpets - they slow down the usual wear and tear of floor surfaces on one hand, and are thoroughly cleaned and desinfected after every charter for your protection on the other;
- to provide high-quality stylish bedlinen - antiseptic and antiallergic, with first-class covers instaed of blankets;
- provide towel sets for all the members of charterers' parties - to help them reduce pieces and weight of necessary luggage; these items definitely take most space in bags and suitcases;
- furnish galleys with wine glasses and fine table sets and cutlery - as, let's face it, there's not much sense to charter an expensive yacht and have a meal with plastic ware or sip a fine local wine from a plastic glass!
With regard to bareboat charter, we were the first charter base to dedicate as much time and effort to detailed instructions at the check-in as necessary, to make the charterer familiar with all the navigation and safety equipment on board. Patience and hospitality resulted in appreciation, very few accidents and careful use of property by charterers on one side, and on the other side - enormous gratitude from the owners for the immaculate condition of boats, which after expiration of charter management contracts are ready to be privately used again or sold for the good price.
We've found all these extra treatments a good investment into comfort and quality, and hope it is duly appreciated.
